The Middle School Mixed Doubles Tennis Tournament information:

• Saturday, September 20th at the Erickson tennis courts from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM. 

• There is no entry fee.

• Co-sponsored by Wood County Schools and the Mid-Ohio Valley Tennis Association (MOVTA). 

• All players are to wear their school uniform. 

• Players need to arrive by 9:45 AM to warm up and check in. 

• Pizza, chips, and cookies will be provided for all players. 

• Everyone will need to bring their own drinks for the matches.

• We usually have a big crowd so bring chairs. 

We hope to provide each player with at least two matches.  It is always fun to play with players from other teams.  We are hoping to have some other players join us for the day.  The tournament is divided into two divisions to make it more even for each player. It is not mandatory to play but we hope everyone does. 

The players will be representing countries where the major Grand Slam Tennis Tournaments are held.  They are France, England, Australia, and the United States. Each participant will be assigned a country after the draw is made.  The Middle School coaches will lead/coach each team.  The winners will be rewarded prizes in their divisions.  There will be other prizes given out, too. 

We hope that everyone will join us on September 20th!
